Has anyone had any good fortune using Aloe Vera to treat thickened, aging toe nails?
Tea Tree Oil is the best solution. This is available in health food stores, Walmart and Trader Joe's for around $6.00. You can put this on your toenails and underneath the nail. First I would soak your feet, clean under your nails, get rid of any dead skin or dirt, dry thoroughly and then apply the tea tree oil. You will have to do this daily and it will take awhile to get rid of depending on the severity of the fungus. In the summer it is important to keep your feet very dry and any area of your skin that has a crease. I would also use powder to help stay dry. There are many products on the market that are good. Aloe Vera is great for many other uses. I personally drink the gel from the health food store daily. If you need anything further I can be reached on Ask the nurse.com or visit my blob "Dailylivingwithbobbiandang.com" let me know how you are doing.
