Are Muslims capable of making a peaceful secular democracy or are they too irrational and violent?

It’s either a theocracy or a dictatorship for Muslims, right? Indonesia is the exception but they’re not Arab or North African. Indonesian Muslims have only been believing Muhammad’s many baseless ertions for a few generations so the insanity of Islam hasn’t had time to percolate in their brains like it has in the brains of Arabs and North Africans.
