How to get someone to overcome their fear of roller coasters?

I'm going to Hershey Park with my school band in May or June and I have a friend who is extremely afraid of roller coasters and I'm trying to think of a way to convince her that there is nothing to be scared of. Any tips on helping people overcome their fear of roller coasters?
