Does Niccolo Machiavelli contribute toward the pursuit of an ideal society?

Why or why not does he contribute toward an ideal society? Reasons could have to do with his order, high living standards, thoughts on equality, diversity, advancement, peace, or prosperity. I really don't understand the topic so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!!!
