What's with some churches giving bibilcal figures more importance than they should?

Since none of these other examples is doing it for you, then you should try to be another Jesus. That would mean things like giving up your home and all your financial security, hanging out with social misfits, haranguing religious and civil authorities about their treatment of the poor and powerless, getting into fights with your misunderstanding family, and even risking your life exposing corruption and manipulation. Are you ready for that? Or do you want to start by practicing with a few smaller goals first.
