Former World Champion APHA Halter Gelding Doing DRESSAGE?

I have a 16.2 hand APHA gelding that is former World Champion Halter horse, (he has muscles and bulk) I am teaching him Dressage for something new to do this year, but I am concerned on how the judge will react to him. He does not collect up like a warmblood or arab ect. and is not refined, will this greatly hurt me at all?
