Asking for a picture with a girl you like?

if i were to ask a girl that i like but rarely talk to (she knows me and is nice to me and im nice to her)for a picture during our banquet (i didnt ask her out) do u think that she will think that i like her or that im weird?? also whut do u think she'll think? should i ask her for a pic?!? thanks!
