Internship Woes..please tell me how I can make it better?

Well, since you're already asking for more work to do, and they don't give it to you, you should consult the highest manager in the establishment. Let him or her know that you really believe you're ready and capable of doing more, and that you would appreciate being given more responsibility. There's really nothing else you can do aside from that. If they don't want to delegate more important tasks to you, you can't really force them to. :)
