A question about The Lovely Bones book?

At the end of the book, when Mr. Harvey fell off the ravine, did you think for a moment that it was Susie who made the icicle fall on him? Earlier in the book she states that the icicle is the perfect murder weapon, it melts and there are no clues. Or was it just me?
