i have little knowledge of U.S constitution and history so cannot help you with that sorry. As for King John who was an awful King, from what I remember from history he was forced to sign the magna carta by the Feudal Barons. They were trying to dilute the kings power whilst keeping life very comfortable for themselves. At the time it was signed it did little to quell John's arbitrary manner of rule but it has over time improved the life of people in the UK. I think it may even have influenced the formation of your own U.S constitution since then. Don't quote me on that though
